The tender, titled "GB-Chelmsford: Systemic Training Programme for Social Workers," falls under the social work services industry category. This contract is in the Award stage, with an estimated total value between £300,000 and £450,000, and the contract is set to run for two years starting from 23rd July 2018, with an option to extend for an additional year. This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in education and training services, specifically in the areas of social work and management training. Given that the contracting authority is interested in engaging small or medium enterprises, companies with expertise in systemic theories relevant to social work practice would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Furthermore, the focus on economic, social, and environmental well-being indicates a strong preference for proposals that exhibit social value, making it vital for bidders to align closely with these objectives.

## Notice

This requirement is for a modular systemic training programme that creates a systemic pathway for qualified social workers. The training programme is commissioned by The Essex Social Care Academy (ESCA), Essex County Council, for social workers within the Children and Families directorate, commencing July 2018 for a period of two years with an option to extend for a further twelve months (2+1). The target audience for this training programme will be qualified social workers, senior practitioners, team and service managers, heads of service and directors from Children and Families. It is ECC's intention to open up the leadership and management programme to wider partner agencies, such as Adult Social Care, Education, Health and Police. The aim of the training programme is to upskill participants with core systemic theories, which transfers into relational social work practice. The estimated total contract value, including the initial 2 year period and the optional 12 month extension period, is between PS300,000 and PS450,000. The deadline for submission of tenders: 12.00 Noon on 08/06/2018.
