Wednesbury is one of 68 towns taking part in Historic England's National High Street Heritage Action Zones which is a nationwide initiative designed to secure lasting improvements to our historic high streets for the communities who use them. The Council is working in partnership with Historic England to deliver this. The scheme consists of three components Physical works to buildings, Public realm improvements, Cultural Programme.
