The new junction comprises the following: - One new overbridge required with piled foundations - Existing accommodation overbridge (Farm Lane Bridge) used for one side of the new junction - New reinforced earth on and off slip embankments standing at 70deg to reduce imported fill requirement - Ground improvement to soft ground below new embankments to reduce construction time
