## Notice

Medway Council is to introduce risk based verification to the processing of new claims for housing benefit and the localised council tax reduction scheme. In order to facilitate this, it is looking to procure an IT system that can assist in the task and meet the following requirements: It must: 1. Be fully compliant with DWP's HB/CTB S11/2011 circular guidance 2. Be available through the Council's e-form package supplied by Victoria Forms. 3. Be available through the Council's Govtech eCAPTURE software 4. Provide an individual risk rating for all new claims, based on the likelihood of it being fraudulent or erroneous. 5. Reduce the cost of verifying low risk claims 6. Improve the time taken to process new claims 7. Reduce fraud and error 8. Provide detailed Management Information to enable performance to be monitored
