Currently the Local Authorities manage flood defence work using individual competitive quotes (where possible) from known competent contractors. The overall flood defence budget for the financial year 2019/20 is in excess of ?500,000. The Shared Principal Engineer will be responsible for managing the operational performance of the framework using methods including customer satisfaction, delivery on time and budget, quality of construction phase and completed site finish.
