Round two of the Zero Carbon Communities Grant will be launched in the Summer and SCDC will provide funding for a variety of projects including electric bike share-schemes. The aim of the electric bike share scheme is to help reduce the miles travelled in private vehicles and increase the take-up of cycling by people who would not otherwise cycle. Applications for our grant scheme will be received from non-profit groups or organisations based in South Cambridgeshire or benefiting South Cambridgeshire residents; or South Cambridgeshire parish councils.
