## Notice

The former "Avenue Coking Works" site is located approximately 3km south of Chesterfield in the village of Wingerworth, Derbyshire. The Fluvial Flow Drainage Works required are in relation to the development platform. The current 28Ha development platform has no engineered surface water management system. The surface is either undisturbed weathered coal measures mudstones, or where filled, capped with clay. The surface drains as a fluvial flow to the east into the public open space. The works are for provision of a temporary surface water drainage system using agreed routes, with all due regard to controlled waters to manage run-off and prevent damage to the public open space (POS) landscaped areas and pollution of the SuDS (deemed controlled waters) within the POS. Additional information: The opportunity can be accessed via the HCA eTendering system. Tenderers wishing to be considered for this contract must register their expression of interest and submit a tender through the HCA eTendering system. The contract will be subject to English law. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in GBP and all payments under the contract will be made in GBP.This procurement and award is subject to the transparency arrangements being adopted by the UK Government. These arrangements include the publication of tender documentation issued by the HCA and the contract between the HCA and supplier. Bidders should highlight any areas they consider commercially sensitive in order for the HCA to be able to honour our transparency obligations without undermining the bidders commercial interests. Candidates are advised that the HCA is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("The Act").
