The Council has made clear in its' recently agreed Equality Strategy, that it is committed to ensuring it has a fully diverse organisation at all levels in the council. The successful recruitment partner must be able to demonstrate excellent past practice in positive action initiatives and in delivering a diverse pool of quality applicants. The purpose of the London Borough of Culture programme is to celebrate the borough's diversity and it is imperative the successful candidates are representative of Croydon. The Council will expect as a minimum standard an approved longlist that demonstrates that the recruitment partner has undertaken impactful positive action activity in the creation of a diverse longlist. These roles will all be subject to the following three stage interview process: 1. Informal meet and greet opportunity at Croydon Council (not formal part of interview process) 2. Formal stakeholder interview with key partners in the programme 3.
