This initiative is funded by the Welcome Back Fund, part of the European Regional Development Fund, to aid the revitalisation of high streets following the pandemic. The tender period is open until 10 September 2021, with the contract expected to commence on 30 September 2021 and run until 31 March 2022. The guides will not only serve as a marketing tool for the towns but also assist in the broader objective of community recovery and economic growth. ## Notice East Suffolk Council have been awarded funding through the Welcome Back Fund (which is European Regional Development Fund) to support the safe return to high streets and help build back better from the pandemic. This funding builds on the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund announced in May 2020 and forms part of the wider support government is providing to communities and businesses. As part of a wider programme of building back better projects that East Suffolk Council will be running between July 2021 and March 2022, we are looking to procure guides for a number of towns in East Suffolk. The aim of the guides is to promote the towns, their history, heritage, key attractions and general offer to visitors. These guides will become part of a set which are already available around the district within a number of Visitor Information Points and on The Suffolk Coast Ltd website.
