## Summary

The procurement process involves Sheffield City Council, which is seeking to source 20,000 branded tote bags as part of the Welcome Back Fund project. This initiative aims to support the safe reopening of the local economy, particularly focusing on high streets and public areas in Sheffield, England. The procurement method employed is a selective procedure, with the tender period concluding on 9 March 2022 and the contract commencing on 10 March 2022, running until 31 March 2022. The total value of this contract is approximately £24,999, classified under the CPV code for textile bags.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses within the textile manufacturing and promotional products sectors, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as indicated by the suitability criteria. Companies that specialise in production and customisation of promotional items would be especially well-suited to compete for this contract, utilising their resources to meet the specific needs of Sheffield City Council in supporting local economic activities post-COVID-19.
