## Summary

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council has announced plans to re-commission its current support services for homelessness through a market engagement exercise. The procurement process is expected to begin within the next 12 months. The engagement seeks responses from companies with a proven record in providing 24/7 support and/or supported living services for homeless individuals. The process is at the 'Tender' stage and aims to gather insights to shape future proposals, without committing to a formal procurement process at this point. Key dates include the publication date on 29 October 2024, with the tender period ending on 12 November 2024. The contract is estimated to be worth approximately £300,000 per annum and will be located in Dudley, West Midlands, under the industry category "Community health services" (CPV code 85323000).

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in community health services and homelessness support to collaborate with Dudley Council. By participating in the market engagement, businesses can influence future service specifications and establish themselves as key players in this essential sector. Companies with innovative approaches to improving the lives of homeless individuals will have a competitive edge. While participation is at each supplier's expense, the insights gained can position companies favourably for the anticipated formal procurement process.
