## Summary

The Health & Safety Executive is seeking expertise through a tender titled "Advice on Application of Artificial Intelligence in Operations Affecting Nuclear Material." This procurement falls under the research and development services industry category and is located in the United Kingdom. The contract, valued at £82,234.66, was awarded on 15th June 2020, with a contract period running from 1st July 2020 to 31st March 2021. The procurement method used was selective, specifically a call-off from a framework agreement, and the tender period concluded on 7th May 2020.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for consultancy firms specialising in artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly those with experience in the nuclear sector. Businesses that can demonstrate knowledge of international standards and guidance concerning AI/ML systems, as well as expertise in safety and security assurance techniques, would be well-positioned to compete. The focus on safety and regulatory compliance in the nuclear domain means that established firms with a robust track record in research and consultancy will find particularly relevant opportunities to grow and leverage their capabilities.
