The long-term strategic goal is that local VCS groups and organisations should be viable in their own right. The Authority and its partner organisations recognise that this is an ongoing process, as new groups and organisations arise from different communities and in response to emerging challenges, needs and opportunities. As the Authority's Children and Young People's Service is a significant contributor to this funding allocation, the Supplier will be required to dedicate a specified proportion (i.e. 25%) of the total support per quarter to the city's Adventure Playgrounds, with particular emphasis on helping them with income generation.
