## Summary

The British Transport Police is seeking to award a contract titled "Provision of an Appropriate Adult Service Contract" aimed at providing 24-hour cover for appropriate adult services, particularly for juveniles aged 10-17 and vulnerable adults in custody. The procurement process is currently at the tender stage, with the tender period concluding on 2nd October 2019. The total contract value is estimated at £160,000, with a minimum value of £140,000, and the contract is set to span from 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2021. This opportunity falls under the services industry category, specifically within custody services. Interested vendors will need to meet the open procurement method requirements as it facilitates competitive bidding from various providers.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for service providers and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) specialising in custody and support services to expand their business. Organisations that focus on social care, legal assistance, or have experience in providing services to vulnerable populations would be particularly well-suited to compete. By engaging in this contracting process, businesses can not only secure significant financial contracts but also contribute to societal needs by supporting the British Transport Police in delivering essential services effectively.
