## Notice

National Highways company imperatives of safety, customer and delivery are at the centre of our drive to improve the efficient and effective delivery of our severe weather service. This project will focus on key areas to enhance both our delivery and efficiency of the current service, so that we are still getting the basics right but also looking towards future development needs. Improved use of weather analytics and forecasting, to influence and empower decision making, is seen as key to informing efficient treatment of the Strategic Road Network (SRN) and lessening environmental impact where possible, in reducing the amount of salt used.
