## Summary

The Environment Agency is planning a procurement process for the Property Flood Resilience Framework. This framework aims to enable the successful delivery of Property Flood Resilience schemes for residential and commercial properties, protecting them from flooding. The procurement will consist of two Lots: Lot 1 for Survey, Options & Quality Assurance, and Lot 2 for Detailed Design and Construction. The procurement will be regional-based, with specific organisations assigned to each Lot in different geographic areas. The procurement method will be Open, with a 4-year framework intended to be awarded, and key dates include publishing the ITT from January to March 2023 and Contract Award in June 2023.

This tender for the Property Flood Resilience Framework provides opportunities for businesses in the flood-prevention works industry. Companies specialising in surveying, construction, and property resilience solutions would be well-suited to compete. The procurement process is structured to facilitate SME participation, indicating potential for smaller businesses to engage. The regional distribution of the framework contract allows organisations with specific geographic expertise to leverage their capabilities. Businesses interested in this tender should pay heed to the detailed timetable for submission and evaluation to maximise their chances of success in securing contracts within this framework.
