The intention is to provide a community carpal tunnel service in order to offer prompt and increased patient choice on treatment options. The service shall deliver an enhanced patient experience with reduced waiting times and easier access. To provide an accessible, comprehensive, confidential service, that offers service users informed choices and appropriate treatment. The AQP process will appoint providers to deliver a 'Community Carpal Tunnel Service' which GP's and their patients may choose to refer to following initial clinical assessment and conservative.
