CBC intends to enter into a contract with one successful Contractor under a bespoke form of the JCT Measured Term Contract ('the Contract') for a period of 2 years with the potential to extend for one further period of 2 years to a maximum of 4 years total contract duration. The Disrepair Works programme (the 'Programme') comprises an on-demand repair and maintenance service to occupied properties in the Council's housing stock which are the subject of a housing disrepair claim initiated by the tenant. The Programme includes to repair these properties within prescribed timescales in order to allow the Council to comply with its repairing obligations, increase customer satisfaction, and to prevent successful disrepair claims leading to financial loss to the Council.
