Areas will include both paving to individual properties and communal areas as follows: garden paths, driveways, garage forecourts, car parks, communal footpaths, drying areas, access roads etc. - Line Marking - Application of thermoplastic line markings to newly surfaced areas where necessary. - Drainage Works and Gratings/ Access Covers - Repairs to drainage associated with resurfacing works - repair or replacement of drainage runs, gullies, resetting manhole covers, gully gratings and utilities covers (water, Telephone, Cable TV etc). Survey of drains including CCTV, unblocking/ jetting drains to ensure all water clears from newly resurfaced areas. - Repair of Boundary Enclosures - - Walls - Demolish and rebuild brick and stone walls - Fences - Take down/ repair of timber fences and gates ***DURATION*** - Phase 1 - The contract will be for the duration of three calendar years, commencing 01 April 2023 with completion on 31 March 2026. ***EXTENSION*** - Phase 2 - Cottsway shall have an option to extend the contract period by a further 2 years (subject to satisfactory annual performance). This will be by mutual agreement with the contractor. Should Cottsway choose to exercise this option, Phase 2 would commence on 01 April 2026 with completion on 31 March 2028. ***CONTRACT*** The form of contract will be the JCT - Measured Term Contract 2016.
