*This Mini-Comp is being run via the TFGM Professional Services Framework 2021 Sub-Lot M: Structural and Civil Engineering* The commission requires a senior highway engineer with extensive experience including operating at a management level in developing and approving designs of various highways schemes including walking and cycling schemes, public transport priority proposals, congestion management and road safety proposals. The candidate will have extensive Highway Design experience and be familiar with current standards and guidance. Have experience of contract management, compensation events, programme management and site experience. Have significant experience in use of CAD design. Lengthy experience of management of design teams is a requirement for the commission rather than current hands on design work.
