The IIA will provide up-to-date technical evidence to inform policy development and ensure the Council meets the relevant statutory requirements in respect of the plan-making process. The IIA fulfils the requirement for a Sustainability Appraisal (SA), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), Equalities Impact Assessment (EQIA), Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and Community Safety Impact Assessment (CSIA).
