The DPS will be open from 13 February 2017 to 9 March 2020 and is classified under education and training services. The initial contract duration is set for three years, with the opportunity for rolling contracts thereafter. Suppliers can submit their DPS Selection Questionnaire at any time; however, the initial submission deadline was 27 February 2017. All applications must be sent to the Procurement Service at Portsmouth City Council, located in Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO1 2BJ. This procurement presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in delivering apprenticeship programmes across a variety of sectors, including accountancy, catering, healthcare, and IT, among others. Companies aiming to compete should focus on training and developmental services, particularly those that cater to the government’s apprenticeship targets and standards. With the open nature of the DPS, suppliers of various sizes, especially small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), are encouraged to participate and benefit from the continuous contract opportunities offered by Portsmouth City Council. ## Notice Portsmouth City Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified suppliers to deliver apprenticeship training services. The Authority is setting up this dynamic purchasing system (DPS) to engage a range of providers that are able to deliver the diverse range of apprenticeships qualifications in line with the government's targets and standards. Mini Competitions run via this DPS will comprise of but may not be limited to delivering apprenticeships in the following subjects: -Accountancy -Catering -Facilities -Health and Social Care -Horticulture -Housing -IT -Legal -Building services engineering -Engineering -Procurement -Assistant practitioner adults -Chartered Management -Chartered Surveying -Digital Marketing -Human Resources CIPD -Leadership & Management -Project Management The initial contract period will be for 3 years and rolling thereafter. The DPS will remain open and submission of the DPS Selection Questionnaire can be completed at any time, however please be aware that the initial deadline for submissions is 27/02/17 at 14:00.
