The Council requires a contractor to provide a delivery point in Derby for the receipt of DMR and/or mixed garden organics, an initial sorting service to remove small amounts of contamination and haulage of the materials to a specified facility/facilities. The contract will comprise a three-year, two month and seven day initial term, commencing on 1st April 2020, with two possible extensions, each of one-year duration. It is anticipated that the Council will require capacity for approximately 37,000 tonnes per annum.
