## Summary

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is seeking to enhance capabilities in tackling prejudice, discrimination, and identity-based violence through a tender titled "Prejudice and unlawful behaviour: building capability and evaluating 'what works' (Lot 1)." This procurement, classified under social research services, is located in the United Kingdom and falls under an open procurement method. The tender period ended on 14th November 2016, with an awarded value of £24,000. The contract is scheduled to commence on 5th December 2016 and run until 31st March 2017.

This opportunity is particularly well-suited for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that have expertise in social research and capability-building training. The tender encourages collaborative approaches, making it ideal for organisations that can join forces to deliver comprehensive solutions to the challenges of prejudice and discrimination. Businesses that can contribute to the evaluation of interventions and have the capacity to work in parallel will find this tender a valuable avenue for growth.

## Notice

The aim of the project is to 'lift the floor' on 'what works' to tackle prejudice, discrimination and identity-based violence and harassment by: * Building capability through evaluation guidance and training (Lot 1) * Robustly evaluating the effectiveness of promising interventions (Lots 2-5). Suppliers can bid for one or more Lots - see section 11 for further detail. Please note that the Commission is interested in consortium bids where the research needs of the projects may not be met to a high standard within one organisation and will also accept bids from single, capable organisations. The two Lots are designed to take place in parallel and it would be desirable for the work of one Lot to inform the other. Because of this, it is important that the successful bidder(s) are willing to work collaboratively, where appropriate. The Commission will put successful bidders in touch with each other, if necessary, following appointments.
