There are two funding pots for Projects 1 and 2. The first is for a literature review, with a ceiling of PS15,000, with which we intend to award one project. This literature review covers the causal link between migration and housing (prices, rent etc.) in relevant developed economies and implications for the UK context. The second is for a more open project(s) exploring the impact of migration on house prices in the UK, with a ceiling of PS60,000, with which we intend to award up to 2 projects. Bidders may bid for projects in one or both pots. How the project is delivered is to be determined by the successful bidders. The bids themselves should outline how the bidder aims to deliver the project. We have an obligation to be open, fair, and transparent with the funding but have no preferred analytical method to be adopted for the research proposed and will evaluate each bid according to its merits based on the evaluation criteria stated within the Instruction to Bidders. The research must be completed by March 2026 Additional information: This award is for any legal entity or organisations, both national and international (but note if international then all correspondence pertaining to this competition and subsequent award must be in English, and all payment will be in pounds sterling). This is an online competition managed via the Home Office eSourcing Portal, Jaggaer. It is imperative you test your portal connection and become familiar with how to submit your bid in advance of the deadline date. It is conceivable that because the portal operates on the web, internet traffic may affect performance of the portal and this cannot be cited as reason to seek an extension to the submission deadline date. The HO Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal is independent of other e-Sourcing portals. Therefore, if you have registered on the Crown Commercial Service Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal for example, you will also need to register on the HO Jaggaer eSourcing portal.
