## Summary

The Liverpool John Moores University is planning a procurement process for the provision of Online / Apps Modules - Bystander Training to raise and prevent sexual harassment. The university has initiated a tender under the planning stage with a deadline for market engagement set for 10th July 2023. The procurement falls under the industry category of Training software development services and is targeted to be delivered to a location with postal code L2 2QP.

This tender opportunity presents a chance for businesses in the software development services industry, specifically those experienced in delivering training modules. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations well-versed in developing educational tools could find this opportunity suitable for bidding. Liverpool John Moores University is seeking credible solutions to provide mandatory training to its students, highlighting a focus on addressing sexual misconduct through measurable changes in attitudes and behaviors.

## Notice

LJMU have proposed that a provider should deliver mandatory training for all students, and that this should include training for potential witnesses to raise awareness of and prevent sexual misconduct; this is known as 'bystander training'. This training should be underpinned by credible evidence and evaluation which demonstrates measurable changes in attitudes and behaviours as a result of the training. Given the complexity of these issues, we would expect there to be an appropriate amount of time dedicated to mandatory training as well as an opportunity for attendees to ask questions. For example, a short online session at the beginning of a student's higher education career that does not allow for questions and discussion, is unlikely to be sufficient to meet our proposed requirements We have placed this notice to understand the market and the capabilities Additional information: The completed RFI must be submitted by 5pm on 10th July - all information is within the document attached to this notice
