## Summary

The procurement process titled "Tackling Modern Slavery in Vietnam" is spearheaded by the Home Office, located in London, England. This initiative falls under the category of "Other community, social and personal services" and is aimed at addressing the critical issue of modern slavery, particularly in the five north and north-central provinces of Vietnam. The competitive grant funding process is intended for the project, with a total available value of £2.5 million and a projected duration running until 31 March 2021. The tender period is set to conclude on 24 July 2018, providing interested organisations a specific timeframe for their proposals, while the grant funding is expected to initiate shortly thereafter.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in social services, non-profit organisations, and those specialising in victim support and human trafficking prevention. Given the focus on modern slavery in Vietnam, companies with experience in international development, social welfare projects, and community engagement initiatives could find this project especially relevant. Additionally, the inclusion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) in the suitability criteria encourages a diverse range of competitors to participate, fostering innovation and impactful solutions to this pressing issue.

## Notice

Call for Proposals (CfP) The Home Office is looking to award up to PS2.5m of grant funding for a project aimed at tackling modern slavery from Vietnam ("the Project"). The Project will run until end-March 2021, and will include support for victims, prevention and other activities described in the CfP documents. The Authority is proposing to award grant funding ("Funding") for the period from the point of funding award up to March 2021 in a fair, open and transparent manner by means of a competitive CfP, which focuses on tackling modern slavery from Vietnam, in particular from the five north and north-central provinces of origin for victims of trafficking and potential victims of trafficking identified in the UK National Referral Mechanism.
