Background Sefton Council's Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Air Show and the British Musical Fireworks Championships each year. They are hugely popular events that are well attended. Specification Southport Air Show to be held 6, 7 & 8 September 2019 To supply, erect and dismantle 1400 crowd control barriers - these will be positioned around the seafront area, and on the beach. To supply, erect and dismantle 800 heras fence panels with supports, blocks and clips - width: 3.5m x Height: 2m. These will be positioned around the seafront area and over uneven ground. 4 sets of temporary steps, 8' wide with handrails for pedestrian use during the event and to be positioned over the seawall. All the above to be completed by the end of Thursday 5 September and to be dismantled as soon as possible after the event ends on Sunday 9 September after 7pm. British Musical Fireworks Championship to be held 27, 28 & 29 September 2019 To supply, erect and dismantle 265 crowd control barriers. To supply, erect and dismantle 367 heras fence panels with supports, blocks and clips.
