The Planning Policy Team of Leicester City Council is seeking to commission consultants to complete an Employment Land Study to inform the preparation of its New Local Plan, which completed the Issues and Options stage in February 2015. Bids are invited from suitably qualified and experienced consultants. The findings of the study will form part of the evidence base used to inform the New Local Plan. The study will address the requirements of the National Planning Policy Framework and the National Planning Practice Guidance. This project needs to reflect the new strategy for Leicester, to be the city of choice for large scale inward investment.
