The appointed Contractor must therefore have the capacity and geographical coverage to provide the services without subcontracting any elements of the service. The Contract will be for a period of 5 years with the option to extend by a further 5 years via 5 no. 1 year extension periods following the initial contract period. The Contract is anticipated to commence on 20 May 2019 and is due to end on 19 May 2024. The execution of the 5 no. 1 year extension periods would extend the contract end date to 19 May 2029.
