The prescribing support solution messages can be grouped as: * Best Practice messages (providing national and local guidance); * Cost Savings messages (suggesting cost saving effective changes); * Cost Avoidance messages (suggesting not prescribing which may create a cost saving); * Information Only messages (often supply issues); and * Formulary messages (red and amber drugs).
