This is to ensure that storm and surface water flows that presently cause flooding to the existing network no longer discharge into the foul sewer drainage network. The works comprise a series of drainage network modifications, along with the construction of new drainage network infrastructure, to remediate the identified structural and hydraulic issues identified within the network, and to make the foul drainage system eligible for adoption under Section 104 of the Water Industry Act (1991) by the water authority, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW).
