Working with British Canoeing and the British Mountaineering Council a proposal has been developed for the implementation of an innovative new City Adventure Programme. This will be achieved using resources from the council allocated to support work between 2016 and 2018 on celebrating our designation as European City of Sport in 2016. The programme will involve the following activities: *Climbing (via the operation of a 7m high, 4 route mobile climbing wall). *Slacklining. *Canoeing, *Kayaking, *Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP). Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
