The projects will contribute to the objective of creating high wage, high skill, local employment, adding to the resilience of local communities and to the long term strength of the Cornish economy, as identified in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly LEP's Strategic and Economic Plan (SEP). The Design Consultant appointment will be to take the projects to RIBA Stage 4. This will require RIBA Stage 3 to be issued by 15th June 2018, to allow a period of technical review and costing, to enable the submission of a formal cost plan and a detailed planning submission by 30th June 2018. It is proposed that planning application will be submitted on the same date.
