## Summary

Espo, a central purchasing body located in Leicester, UK, has initiated and awarded a national framework contract titled "215_24 Specialist Vehicles (outright purchase)." The procurement process entails the outright purchase of a variety of specialist vehicles, catering to local authorities and other public sector organisations. The industry category for this procurement is motor vehicles, specifically including tipper trailers and road sweepers. The open procedure procurement method was employed, with tender submissions ending on 28th October 2024. The contract period spans from 3rd December 2024 to 30th November 2028, covering locations across the United Kingdom. The framework's value is estimated at £400,000,000.

This framework offers significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for suppliers of specialist vehicles such as refuse collection vehicles, compact sweepers, winter maintenance vehicles, minibuses, buses and coaches, customised vehicles like mobile libraries, chassis/cabs, tippers, and blue light appliances. SMEs and VCSEs are encouraged to participate, as the framework is inclusive of these business types. The successful suppliers, such as AEBI SCHMIDT UK LIMITED and ALEXANDER DENNIS LIMITED, demonstrate the diverse range of companies involved, providing ample scope for businesses to establish or expand their market presence.

Accordingly, this is provided for bidders information only. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.
