## Summary

Reading Borough Council is currently conducting a tender for the project titled "Cultural Commissioning," aimed at enhancing arts, culture, and heritage programmes for disadvantaged residents in Reading. This initiative falls under the recreational, cultural, and sporting services sector and is intended to address local social challenges while improving residents' quality of life. The procurement method is an open procedure, and the deadline for submitting tenders is 31 May 2018. Successful bidders will deliver programmes for one year, starting from 1 July 2018, with each of the three awarded contracts valued at £15,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the arts, culture, and community service sectors, to engage with vulnerable populations and assist in the delivery of impactful programmes. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary or community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, as the council seeks diverse and innovative solutions to social issues. Organisations will need to register and submit their tender documents through the council's e-tendering portal to be considered for this collaboration.
