Summary of what the service should include: The Sheffield CIPC service as specified in this document will provide specialist advice and support to the community-based organisations (detailed below) that provide health and social care services across the city including, but not limited to, residential and nursing care homes. The service will also support GP practices on IPC matters, though the portion of support for GP practices is funded by the ICB and is therefore excluded from this specification.
