Lot 1 - Security Services and Medical Rescue South Tees Site Company (STSC) are seeking a manned guarding service provision to include all manned security, medical rescue response, front of. House, and site induction processes. The site boundary is approximately 13,5 miles (including River Tees border) in circumference and consists of a mixture of wooden bars, palisade, chain link fencing - all in various states of repair and degradation. There are lengths of perimeter where no fence line or demarcation exists typical duties are as follows: - to conform with all SIA and BSIA regulations, including as a minimum, ACS status, - control access and egress to site, - carry out vehicle searches and identity checks, - control manual and automatic security barriers, - control and issue keys, access cards, - deliver visitor, HGV and contractor inductions, - conduct physical security patrols by both foot and vehicle. - carry out routine vehicle searches and perimeter fence line patrols. - attend reported crimes and investigate accordingly taking guidance and direction from the STSC Head of security. - perform road safety duties including speed monitoring. - lock and alarm vehicles and buildings on site. - escort the emergency services (Fire, Police and Ambulance) to emergency incidents on site. The list of service duties is indicative and by no means comprehensive a further list of duties can be found in the procurement documentation. Lot 2 - Security Cameras Wireless outdoor motion viewer camera equipment is required to support STSC in the detection and prevention of crime, c600 passive infrared cameras are required to assist in the detection and monitoring of unauthorised personnel on the STSC site. This technology will be required to operate inside and outside buildings, including at height, 24/7 365 days per year security operations. The technology will support the security team and provide early warning detection. The desired approach of this system is to provide an early warning alarm which will be confirmed to our onsite control room, once the system has gone into alarm your control centre will confirm time, date and location camera number to the onsite security control room, very quickly followed by the video clip of confirmation. The system must be fully installed by the contractor, and have the ability to be monitored via an offsite or onsite location. The list is indicative and by no means comprehensive a further list of duties can be found in the procurement documentation. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the RFP document. Contract Start date - Lot 1 - Wednesday 22nd June (To allow for TUPE transfer) Contract Start date - Lot 2 - Monday 23rd July 2018 Additional information: **Please note, the only amendments to the tender documentation attachments is Appendix H - TUPE Data V2 and FM18075 Security Services Medical Rescue and Security Cameras Request for Proposal RFP - V2 that includes a revised timetable** *An NDA - Appendix J (that can be found attached within the RFX attachments section of this tender) must be completed and returned to UK SBS prior to receiving appendix E and F, bidders will also need to ensure this has been completed and returned prior to attending the site visit. No bidders will be permitted site access unless this document has been signed and returned prior to this visit.* DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO BUYER All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts) Responses must be received by the date in the tender documentation; responses received outside of the deadline or not sent via the eSourcing portal will not be accepted or considered further for this opportunity.
