## Summary

The contracting process for the City of London Police's HR system, Origin, has concluded, with a contract directly awarded to SSS Public Safety Limited. The buying organisation responsible for this process is The Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London. This contract pertains to the software package and information systems industry, specifically classified under CPV code 48000000. The procurement stage is at the award phase as of 2nd March 2026. The contract, commencing on 1st January 2026 and ending on 30th December 2029, is valued at £868,192. Based in London, this contract was procured using a selective method, specifically a call-off from the CCS Framework RM6259. The decision was rooted in ensuring continuity, avoiding gaps in service, and achieving a technical refresh.

This tender provides significant opportunity for businesses specialising in software and information systems, especially those capable of delivering modular HR systems and supporting services such as database management and technical system refreshes. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are considered suitable for such opportunities, as indicated by the tender's suitability criteria. Businesses within these categories that offer niche services and have the capability to facilitate seamless off-boarding to alternative solutions, such as SAP ERP, would be particularly well positioned to benefit from this contract and similar future opportunities.

## Notice
