The longer timeframe will ensure greater stability and consistency in therapeutic provision in Avon & Somerset. The specification was informed by a recent health needs assessment (HNA) of therapeutic provision in the South West for people who have experienced sexual assault and abuse. This service will provide (or enable access to) a range of evidence based, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions for adults and children of all genders who have experienced sexual violence and abuse.
