The successful delivery of the project could help these businesses expand their influence in the sector while addressing critical social issues in the West Midlands community. ## Notice The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), through the work of the Homelessness Taskforce, has for the second year, successfully secured funding from the Rough Sleeping Initiative (year 4), for the region. This funding to the WMCA from Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is in addition and adds value to funds allocated to individual Local Authorities. The WMCA will liaise with partner Local Authorities to ensure relevance and strategic fit of services commissioned. The primary objective of the RSI Fund is to: - Help people sleeping rough off the streets - Help those who have moved off the streets to successfully progress away from rough sleeping - Prevent those in crisis, and at imminent risk, from sleeping rough The WMCA is now seeking submissions to deliver outcomes through the RSI Fund 2021-22. This is being done through two separate tenders made up of the following Lots: 1. Lot D: Outcome focused, spot purchase fund available to organisations to enable individual solutions for people sleeping rough, allowing flexible, personal planning and delivery. 2. Lot H: Social support networks, developing and testing new approaches to sustaining tenancies for people with a history of rough sleeping via use of peer led and other support to promote sustainable social networks to prevent a return to rough sleeping. The contract for this project will be based on the Memorandum of Understanding document provided under cover of each tender and bids are being assessed on the evaluation criteria outlined in the Specification document. Only those organisations that respond satisfactorily to the Standard Selection Questionnaire will have their tenders assessed. Please note that the deadline for tender returns for Lot D is 1700 on 7th May 2021 and for Lot H is 1700 on 21st May 2021.
