ICaL is in the process of upgrading its aberration corrected JEOL 2100 (with UHR pole-piece) to provide a sub-sampled ptychography capability for high resolution STEM imaging and is looking for an in-situ biasing stage to be used in conjunction with the new imaging methodology for the study of electrochemical energy storage systems. As a consequence the University is looking to tender for a new biasing stage that is capable of controlling electrochemical function under high resolution and low-dose imaging conditions. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
