This procurement process allows potential suppliers to shape the forthcoming service offering and positions them strategically for the upcoming contract opportunities, fostering business growth and diversification. ## Notice The Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire on behalf of Warwickshire Police is conducting a market engagement exercise to better understand options for the provision of vehicle recovery and associated services across the county of Warwickshire and gauge what kind of appetite there is in the vehicle recovery community to consider bidding for the new services in early summer 2025. The vehicle recovery operator will recover, store and at the Authority's sole discretion, dispose of, illegally, dangerously or obstructively parked, broken down, collision damaged, abandoned and stolen motor vehicles, together with vehicles seized by police under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 or Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Section 152 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005, usually at no cost to Warwickshire. The service is currently divided into 3 Lots across the county. Lot 1 Covers the north of the county, Lot 2 Rugby and Lot 3 the South. The current contract expires in June 2025. This gives the force an opportunity to explore the market and look at a variety of options to commission the next service. This market engagement exercise is designed to understand how many garages would be interested in delivering the service either as the lots are divided, the whole service or by other means. We would therefore like to invite suppliers to express interest in the above service and provide a summary of their relevant experience in this field by completing a short questionnaire. In addition please also indicate whether you would like to attend an online event which is provisionally booked for 10:00 am on Wednesday 23rd October. Further details of the event will be forwarded to those expressing an interest nearer the time. This exercise is purely for the purpose of information gathering in order to inform the procurement strategy going forward. The PCC shall have no obligation to acquire any services as a result of this RFI.
