This comes on the back of our award-winning approach to protecting residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, national recognition for our regeneration plans and the successfully delivery of the Sandwell Aquatic Centre as host venue for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The Corporate Performance Manager will work closely with corporate policy and improvement officers to lead the ongoing development, implementation and co-ordination of the corporate performance management framework. Working with senior officers, elected members and government appointed Commissioners, you will be key to embedding a performance culture across the organisation. The role will be responsible for: * Leading the ongoing development, implementation and co-ordination of the corporate performance management framework that assists Sandwell Council to achieve and maintain high levels of performance and value for money. * The development and presentation of clear and transparent performance reports and benchmarking activities, providing senior managers, Elected Members and the public with intelligence on delivery of the Corporate Plan and outcomes for residents of Sandwell. * Ensuring the continual development and embedding of a performance culture that focuses on improving outcomes for residents throughout the organisation.
