## Summary

The North of England Commissioning Support (NECS), acting on behalf of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Short Term Assessment and Re-ablement Service - Safe Space". This exercise aims to engage with the market to inform the future service delivery of STARS in the North Yorkshire and York areas, classified under health and social work services. Interested parties are invited to express their interest through a Request for Information (RFI) until the deadline of 29 July 2022, at 5 p.m.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), to participate in developing vital health services in the region. Companies that specialise in health and social care delivery, particularly those with experience in re-ablement services, would be well-suited to engage in this process. By providing input and potentially collaborating in future tenders, these businesses can help shape service models while simultaneously expanding their market reach within the public sector.
