## Summary

The Cumbria Chamber of Commerce is seeking providers for a tender titled "Workshops To Support Business Growth, Competitiveness & Profitability." This initiative aims to deliver a range of tactical workshops tailored for SMEs in Cumbria, addressing various topics to enhance their growth and profitability. The procurement process is currently in the active tender stage, with submissions closing on 23 June 2017. The contract is expected to commence on 1 August 2017 and run until 31 March 2018. The estimated value of the contract is between £10,000 and £20,000, classified under business services within the CPV code 79000000 for consulting and related services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in workshop facilitation, consulting, and training. Providers that can design and deliver tailored workshops in areas such as marketing, business strategy, and operational improvement would be well-suited to compete. Given the focus on supporting both ERDF-eligible and non-ERDF Cumbrian SMEs, businesses with experience in delivering targeted support to diverse sectors such as retail, agriculture, and the visitor economy will find this opportunity particularly advantageous. Moreover, firms able to collaboratively engage with local growth hubs to enhance workshop participation will position themselves favourably in this competitive process.
