## Summary

Staffordshire County Council has awarded the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Capacity Building Framework to Support Staffordshire on the 2nd of April 2026. This framework aims to enhance VCSE capacity and support various community and social service priorities within Staffordshire, excluding Stoke-on-Trent, with a particular focus on recovery from Covid-19 impacts. The procurement process has been completed, and the framework was initiated through an open tendering method, culminating with the contract period starting on the 1st of August 2022 and ending on the 31st of July 2026. The industry category revolves around community, social, and personal services, emphasizing collaboration with VCSE and young people's support programmes across Staffordshire and beyond, including Europe and several British territories. The framework has a budget of £5,000,000, providing ample scope for potential suppliers with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and VCSE suitability.

This tender creates a significant opportunity for businesses looking to engage with the public sector and contribute to community development and social service enhancement. Enterprises specializing in capacity building, volunteer management, community engagement, and providing comprehensive information, advice, and guidance services would find this framework highly beneficial for business growth. It offers an opportunity for interested suppliers to participate in one or multiple lots, focusing on VCSE capacity building, supporting young people, and grant management. The collaboration with Staffordshire County Council and joint representation at various forums provides a platform for shaping strategic decisions and expanding the business network within the VCSE sector. Suppliers eager to apply should register on the Proactis e-tendering system to signal their interest in this lucrative opportunity.

To achieve these aims, there will be three (3) separate Lots under the Framework: Lot A - VCSE Capacity Building and Supportive Communities Lot B - Supporting Young People and Lot C - Grant Management.
