All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal. UK Research and Innovation has a requirement to procure the provision of Intellectual Property (IP) services for the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) in particular, patent services such as drafting, filing and renewals management and trade mark filing and renewals. STFC Innovations Ltd ( STFC's Technology Transfer Company) is responsible for management and commercialisation of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) IP Portfolio and requires access to services offered by patent agents / attorneys on a range of issues and questions that arise in the course of STFC Innovations Ltd. ' business activities and the management and exploitation of STFC's intellectual property. The requirement has been divided into two LOTS. Bidders are allowed and encouraged to apply to both LOTs, as separate applications. There are no restrictions in having one bidder being successful for both LOTs. However, the bidders are informed that both applications will be considered entirely separately, on the merits of each application. LOT 1: Southern England and Wales LOT 2: Northern England and Scotland The total value for LOT 1 should the full 5 years be utilised shall be between PS1,200,000.00 excluding VAT (One million, two hundred thousand pounds) and PS2,000,000.00 excluding VAT (Two million pounds). The Committed minimum spend for the 3 year fixed term is a minimum of PS720,000. The total value for LOT 2 should the full 5 years be utilised shall be between PS300,000.00 excluding VAT (three hundred thousand pounds) and PS500,000.00 excluding VAT (five hundred thousand pounds). The Committed minimum spend for the 3 years fixed term is a minimum of PS180,000. Additional information: DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO BUYER All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts) Responses must be received by the date in the bid documents. Responses received outside or concurrently using the eSourcing process will not be accepted or considered further for this opportunity. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: * name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; * name of the registered Bidder; * name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. The Sourcing documents can then be accessed on the eSourcing Suite at: https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk using the instructions detailed in the Specification documents within Contracts Finder.
