## Notice

We had an unexpected shortage of rooms due to finding RAAC in four of our student residencies. Unforeseen government guidance changes in early September meant that we needed to urgently source more rooms to enable us to meet our accommodation guarantee within 10 working days. We used purpose built student accommodation managed by Yugo and located in the city centre to do this and there was insufficient time to carry out a full procurement exercise. This was done under guidance from UEA's senior leadership team and overseen by the Chief Resource Officer.
