These works are to create energy efficiency savings for the Local Authority. Priority is to generate the maximum cost savings as early in the contract as is possible. The contract start date is scheduled to commence 19/09/2019 with a contract period of 10 years (2 years design and build and 1 year defect period. The software will be for a total of 10 years to include licencing and maintenance support). The design and mobilisation is expected to commence on contract award. The licences for the software will be novated at the end of the defect period to Swindon Borough Council. The estimated budget range for this opportunity is between PS7 100 000 and PS8 500,000 GBP.
